There are many reasons to visit Cuba. From its attractive and transparent beaches and exotic landscapes, to experiencing the culture and hospitality of that warm nation. With all these, Cuba has become one of the most favorite destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean, for tourists and for onlookers who want to know that reality closely.

 Amigos de Cuba in cooperation with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) promotes alternative visits with educational character to the island since 1993, through volunteer work brigades.

 This way, the participant not only shares part of his/her time with the Cuban reality but also enjoys this unique way of making new friends and to express his/her solidarity with the people of Cuba.

 The program consists on working partially in rural cooperatives or in cultivations of vegetables then to visit places of common interest.

 We have obtained a high level of experience through our exchanges with social and community organizations by working hand by hand as much in the field as in the cities. 

Our programs contemplate visits to historical, economic, cultural and social places of interest; we also share conferences on the national present time and encounters with Cuban social organizations.

In conclusion: For two weeks, we cover an intensive program so that you can get to know Cuba, its life, its culture, its history and its social achievements.

 Our next trip will be to the central province of Ciego de Avila.
